PROVISION BUILT AROUND THE WHOLE CHILD.

We work with young people who have been permanently excluded, are at risk of exclusion, or whose complex needs can no longer be met in mainstream settings. Our structured, nurturing environments give them the stability and support they need to thrive.

Academic Provision
Functional skills, GCSE pathways, and accredited qualifications delivered by experienced teachers and specialist practitioners.
Mental Health & Wellbeing
Embedded pastoral care, therapeutic approaches, and trauma-informed practice woven through everything we do.
Reintegration Planning
Every student has a bespoke transition plan from day one, reviewed regularly with referring schools and local authorities.
Employability & Life Skills
Work experience, financial literacy, communication, and independent living skills that prepare young people for life beyond school.
01

Assessment & Induction

Every student receives a comprehensive needs assessment in the first week. We identify barriers, build relationships, and create an individual learning plan before a single lesson begins.

02

Stabilisation & Engagement

Through structured routines, therapeutic support, and meaningful curriculum, we help students stabilise and genuinely re-engage with learning — often for the first time in years.

03

Progress & Transition

Regular multi-agency reviews ensure every student moves forward — whether that is reintegration, further education, apprenticeship, or employment.

Student Outcomes

THE RESULTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.

The following anonymised summaries illustrate the types of outcomes regularly achieved at Outcome Oasis Learning. All details have been generalised to protect student confidentiality in line with our safeguarding policy.

Student Profile · KS4
Permanent Exclusion, No Engagement, ADHD Diagnosis

This student arrived having been permanently excluded from two secondary schools within 18 months. They had not engaged in any formal education for six months prior to referral and had been described by previous settings as unmanageable. Our assessment identified unmet learning needs and significant barriers linked to emotional dysregulation. A structured, interest-led curriculum was implemented alongside daily pastoral support.

Outcome Achieved
Successfully reintegrated to a mainstream school within seven months. Achieved accredited qualifications in English and Maths. Continued into Year 11 with sustained attendance above 90%.
Student Profile · KS3
Severe School Refusal, Trauma History, Zero Qualifications

This student was referred following a prolonged period of school refusal linked to social anxiety and adverse childhood experiences. Prior to placement, attendance in mainstream had fallen below 40% across a full academic year. A graduated reintroduction to structured learning was implemented, beginning with one-to-one sessions and progressing to supported small group provision over a 12-week period. Family liaison was maintained throughout.

Outcome Achieved
Completed accredited Functional Skills qualifications in English and Maths. Successfully transitioned to a specialist college provision at 16 and sustained engagement beyond the first term.
Student Profile · KS4
Multiple Exclusions, Criminal Justice Involvement, At Risk

This student arrived with a history of exclusion across three schools, involvement with the criminal justice system, and significant safeguarding considerations. Referral was made six months before GCSE examinations with no expectation of qualification. A robust key worker relationship was established from day one. High expectations were maintained alongside intensive pastoral and multi-agency support. The student engaged consistently throughout the placement.

Outcome Achieved
Achieved five GCSEs including a Grade 5 in Mathematics. Progressed to a vocational apprenticeship post-16. No further criminal justice involvement recorded at 12-month review.
Confidentiality Notice All student information presented above has been fully anonymised. No names, locations, referring institutions, or identifying details are included. Outcome data reflects genuine placement results. Full outcome reporting is available to commissioning local authorities and schools upon request, subject to appropriate data sharing agreements.

Our Approach

WE DO NOT WAREHOUSE YOUNG PEOPLE.

Our practice is built on evidence-based approaches to behaviour, trauma, and learning. Every member of our team is trained in the same core principles — because consistency is everything for young people who have experienced instability.

01
Trauma-Informed Practice
We understand that behaviour is communication. Every team member is trained to respond to the root cause of behaviour, not the surface presentation. We never punish a young person for a symptom of trauma.
02
High Expectations
Compassion without expectation is a low ceiling. We hold every student to high standards because we believe in what they are capable of — even when they do not believe it themselves.
03
Family Partnership
Young people do not exist in isolation. We work closely with families, carers, and support networks to create consistency between home and provision. Regular communication is not optional.
04
Multi-Agency Working
We collaborate actively with social care, CAMHS, youth offending teams, and local authorities. A young person's needs do not fit in a single box, and neither does our support.

LED BY SOMEONE WHO HAS WORKED THE ROOMS.

Not a classroom theorist. A practitioner who built this because the system needed it.

Khalid Saeed founded Outcome Oasis Learning after more than a decade working in and around Pupil Referral Units. He holds a degree in Education and has direct, hands-on experience managing alternative provision, supporting young people through exclusion processes, and delivering reintegration and transition into employment and further education.

Khalid built Outcome Oasis on a simple belief — that every young person who has been written off deserves a provision that refuses to write them off. Every decision made across our sites reflects that belief directly.
